I am a researcher specialising in psychosis, with experience spanning neuroimaging, health inequalities, and working across different study types, age groups, and institutions. I am a co-investigator on the SHARE project, which explores service user perspectives on clinical mental health data sharing across NHS sites and universities. I have also authored papers on syndemics, examining the intersection of social and health inequalities. Alongside my research, I lecture on topics related to mental health and neuroscience.
Previously, I managed the Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE) theme for South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and King’s College London, ensuring that research remained inclusive and responsive to the needs of service users. Additionally, I served as a trustee for the Anne Frank Trust UK, where I supported the education strategy, helping to shape programmes that challenge prejudice.
As a member of the AI Fairness Working Group, I contribute my expertise in mental health research, public engagement, and ethical considerations in participant recruitment and data sharing.
In my spare time I have an incompatible love of art house cinema and low-brow YouTube videos and an irrational fear of public profiles.
