I began my career studying Biomedical Engineering in London and am currently doing a PhD, also in Biomedical Engineering. My PhD project focuses on investigating fairness and biases in AI used for cardiac imaging. I’m particularly interested in investigating the effects of using datasets containing underrepresented minority groups. Through my work, I advocate for the inclusion of more of these minority groups, both in the field of research and in datasets.
Outside of my PhD, I enjoy things that don’t involve sitting at a desk like playing sports, baking and hanging out with friends!
