I have a varied career having worked clinically as a Nuclear Medicine Physicist and as a Data Scientist in a range of fields such as genomics and marketing. The skills and the experiences I’ve had in my previous roles have all come together in my current NHS role as a Clinical Scientist in AI. While the technical programming skills and the familiarity with NHS ways of working have proved useful, my experiences interacting with and working for the direct benefit of patients are really what drive me while developing AI solutions hence being a part of this team to ensure that these tools are as fair as possible!
Outside of work, I spend a large amount of my time hanging out with my dog, Bagel, either going for long walks or learning new tricks. If not that, I’m combining my loves for statistics and sports by making sure that my fantasy football team is optimally set up!
