I developed a particular interest in Minority experience in college where I started doing activism for Disability and LGBTQ plus right. I worked in multiple NGO’s both as a legal consultant or as part an Erasmus plus volunteering unit.
Wanting to deepen my understanding of minority discrimination I completed an internship at the Equality Body of Slovenia. For my master thesis, I wrote about sexual assault of disabled people, approaching the topic in a holistic manner wanting to address not all the statistics but also reasons why sexual assault of disabled people is so frequent in today’s society.
I decided to join the NHS AI Fairness Working Group because I think that the work it is doing is important due to a rising usage of AI.
