I started my career in the NHS in 2019 by undertaking the Scientist Training Program in Clinical Scientific Computing. I have worked in several different NHS trust which has allowed me to gain insight into a variety of different problems facing the NHS and how technology can be used to address them. Since joining Guy’s and St Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Scientist in AI, I have on focused on software development, training and teaching, and Software-as-a-Medical-Device. As I have worked on these topics, I have found the need for AI fairness and assessment of software for bias is a key to ensuring safe and equal care.
Outside of work, I am an avid football fan and enjoy taking walks to relax, escaping to lake or peak district when I can.
